At Wild Cherry Press, we are open and transparent with our costs to the author. These costs are a ‘one-off’ initial charge and no subsequent charges will be levied annually. That is to say, Wild Cherry will pay all costs in future to keep your book ‘active’ in the market place. Wild Cherry will also pay ALL ongoing agents' fees, which may be payable for example to an agent ‘selling your book’ for foreign rights or a movie deal. Wild Cherry will also pay ongoing Amazon annual costs and associated costs for trade catalogues such as Ingram’s.
The author is required to pay a one-off ‘set-up fee’ which will allow Wild Cherry to freelance the initial set-up costs. These include the following.
- The distribution of your manuscript to our selected readers for initial feedback and comments
- Allocation of an editor
- The purchase of the ISBN number
- Editing costs
- Quality control editing
- Design and illustration
- Book title set-up
- Full distribution
The cost will therefore be £699, or €1050, or $1399.
Wild Cherry will therefore levy this charge to the author should
he/she wish to proceed. Cheques should be made payable to Wild Cherry
Publishing.
We can also assist you in setting up your own author's website where your website visitors can purchase a copy of your book direct from Amazon. If you do not have the time to build your own website, we can take care it for you. |
